© Antonio Santos 2011 Made with MAGIX Spanish baritone Antonio Santos has performed in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Colombia and the  United States. A soloist and chamber artist, he has performed with numerous ensembles, including Mater Saule,  Chamber Choir of the Early Music Academy of Salamanca University, Lipzodes, Musica Poetica, Symphonic Orchestra  of Burgos, ¡Sacabuche!, Ensemble El Fénix de los Ingenios, Musica Ficta.  He is a founding member of La Stigia, Vox  Reflexa, and Canto Romántico. His most recent recording is !Ay, España Infelice! with ensemble Canto Romántico (La  douceur 2011) He has sung as soloist Purcell´s Dido & Eneas, Scarlatti´s USA Premier Tigrane, J. S. Bach´s Johannes Passion,  Holzbauer´s Hypermnestra, Händel´s Giulio Cesare, Haydn´s Theresemesse and Rossini´s Italian Girl in Algeirs. Mr.  Santos took part in the early music festivals of Boston and Bloomington, both in the United States, Festival Musical de  Londrina, Festival Internacional de Música Colonial Brasileira e Música Antiga in Brazil, Festival de Musica Antigua y  Religiosa de Salamanca and Festival Internacional de Santander in Spain. As a choir member he has sung Rameau´s  Les Indes Galantes, Verdi´s Traviata and Prokoviev´s Love for Three Oranges at Aix-en-Provence Lyric Festival  (France).   Mr. Santos has performed under the direction of Tom Diamon, Paige Whitley-Bauguess, and Peter Mussbach, as well as  Maestros Gary Wedow, Yutaka Sado, Tukan Sokhiev, Jacques Ogg, Stanley Ritchie, Nigel North and Gabriel Garrido.  Mr. Santos received degrees in History and Musicology from the University of Salamanca (Spain) and in Voice from the  Professional Conservatory of Music of Salamanca. He attended courses at the Early Music Academy under the tutelage  of David Mason and Richard Levitt. Mr. Santos received the Performer Diploma and Master of Music in Voice at the  Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he studied with Paul Elliott and Dr. Robert Harrison. Mr. santos has  offered voice Masterclass at University of Limerick, Irish World Academy, Ireland (2011) and Universidad de los Andes,  Colombia (2010). In 2010 Mr. Santos taught Voice at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia. Since  December of 2010 he has been living in Spain.
